Amino acids, sometimes referred to as the building blocks of protein, are involved in many of your bodily functions. L-Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in your body and is the preferred fuel source for many cells, especially intestinal and immune cells.

Normally, your body can make enough of this amino acid to sustain demand.
